Welcome to the web site of Wales's leading and longest serving entertainer, broadcaster, raconteur and stand-up comedian.
The lovable gentle-man, Wyn Calvin, a household name in Wales, is celebrating sixty five years in show business, and is still spreading his unique brand of humour, wit and generosity throughout Wales and many parts of the wider world.
He is an outstanding ambassador of all that is good in entertainment from the Principality and is as much in demand now as when he first entertained Allied troops with ENSA during the Second World War.
The day he donned a uniform - he was told that if he did not wear one he would have been shot as a spy - Hitler committed suicide. Loveable Wyn has been making us giggle and cry with laughter ever since.

The Stage: “The Welsh Prince of Laughter celebrated 60 years of consumate performing. Wyn Calvin is one of those giants of British comedy who knows how to work a stage. As a comedian, he is a cross between Robb Wilton, with his wry and extremely dry humour, and like a rather bemused Will Hay, always interrupting everybody else. It is surprising that the British film industry never snapped him up. He would have been perfect for Carry-On films. He held the stage brilliantly (at the British Music Hall Society) telling shaggy dog stories, singing and looking as if he owned the place.
